Provide volunteer hospitality functions during the tournament. Set up and maintain food and beverage areas. Assist Marshal Chairpersons with on-course lunch and beverage delivery. Minimal walking or standing. Two shifts daily from 6:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm -5:00pm. Days needed - Wed thru Sunday.
Responsible for organizing and distribution of volunteer uniforms, credentials and gift packs. Minimal standing. 2 shifts 7:00am –12:00 and 12:00 to 5:00pm. Days needed – Monday thru Saturday.
Control the distribution, collection, and charging of the radios to designated personnel. Also serve as liaison between radio frequencies and relay messages to appropriate parties. Minimal walking or standing. Two shifts daily from 7:00 – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Days needed - Monday thru Sunday.
Assist corporate sponsors in hospitality areas by checking for proper credentials, meet and greet, oversee general flow and provide information to the corporate guests. Minimal walking or standing. Two shifts daily from 8:00am -12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Days needed – Friday thru Sunday.
Responsible for cart distribution and cart control during the week of the event. Minimal walking or standing. Two shifts daily from at 6:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Days needed – Monday thru Sunday.
Responsible for the transportation of players from the clubhouse to the first tee prior to tee times and on the golf course. Assist with handicap service when needed. Minimal walking or standing. Two shifts daily from 7:30am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Days needed – Monday thru Sunday.
Volunteers will work on the monster scoreboard and maintain the running scores of the teams. Others will be working on the input to the electronic scoreboards. Moderate to heavy work. Two shifts daily from 8:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Days needed – Friday thru Sunday.
Volunteers will be assigned holes where they will be responsible to control the flow of spectators behind the ropes, and the players and officials inside the ropes. Good eyesight, standing and moderate to light walking. One Shift daily at various times depending on hole assignment. Normal day approximately 6 hours. Days needed – Wednesday thru Sunday.
Working in conjunction with ChampionsTour media representative committee to oversee general operation of press facility including media registration. To assist with any special media needs (i.e. escorting players from scoring tent to media center. Moderate walking and standing. Two shifts daily from 8:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 6:00pm. Days needed – Monday thru Sunday.
Crowd control in practice area and distribution of balls to the players or caddies. Moderate level of walking, standing and moderate physical labor. Two shifts daily from 6:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 6:00pm. Days needed – Monday thru Sunday.
Responsible for the receipt and distribution of spectator information or incoming materials for the players or caddies. In addition must maintain and distribute supplies, refreshments, and water for players, caddies and volunteers. Moderate walking and standing. Two shifts daily from 7:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Days needed – Monday thru Sunday.
This team serves as the “nucleus” for receiving and relaying all scoring information during the event. Scoring control filters scoring information to manual and electronic leader-boards and serves as the checkpoint for score verification. Light walking and standing. Two shifts from 8:00am – 12:00pm and 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Days needed – Wednesday thru Sunday.
A walking scorer will accompany each group of players and input scores and statistics into Champions Tour supplied hand held computer. All Scorers will also be equipped with a radio to communicate with the Champions Tour scoring truck. Shifts are approximately 5 hours and each volunteer will be given a tee time. It is essential to have knowledge of golf and be in good physical condition with the ability to walk 18 holes at a pace to keep up with the players. Approximately 6 hours per day. Heavy walking and standing. Scorers must volunteer at least one week day to be considered for weekend rounds. Days needed – Wednesday thru Sunday.
Walk with Professionals. This Committee requires adults and teenagers who are capable of carrying the double-sided standards that keep the gallery advised of each player’s score. Volunteer must be in good physical condition and be able to walk 18 holes at a pace to keep up with the players. Approximately 6 hours per day. Days needed – Friday thru Sunday.
Work with broadcast team on the course. Heavy walking and knowledge of golf required. One shift at direction of the Golf Channel approximately 8 hour days. Days needed – Thursday thru Sunday.
Responsible for running score cards from the 9th hole to the 18th finishing tent/trailer and other designated locations. Heavy walking and standing. Days needed – Friday thru Sunday.
